And just like that, Week 2 is over! We had another great turnout, with both teams showing up in force. Team Mario stepped it up this week with more people showing up, and in shirts/costume. As such, Team Mario won the spirit award this week.

As far as the WOD was concerned, I am tremendously proud of how everyone handled it. We were well prepared for this one – we’ve ramped up pull-up and double under volume, and we’ve practiced progressively heavier thrusters. It was awesome to see everyone’s hard work pay off – we had numerous PRs this week! First C2B pull-ups, beating previous scores, most consecutive doubles ,etc. Good stuff all the way around.

Despite a bigger turnout for Team Mario, Team Luigi still won the week with more podium spots, and more PRs. All in all, it was another close week with only a 14 point difference between the two. Overall, Team Luigi leads by 30 points.

We still have 1 week remaining, and there’s a 5 point bonus PER PERSON for everyone who completes all 3 WODs. Let’s finish this off with a bang! Full scoring breakdown below, just click the image:
